Whittier Villas
This 4.9 acre infill development site was once a used car dealership. The property is part of the Whittier Boulevard Specific Plan and located in a district known as Neighborhood Spine. The car dealership has now been demolished and the project team is now re-entitling the site to comprise 96 town homes along with a community center. Whittier Villas will be one of the first new for sale projects to be built in the Whittier Boulevard Specific Plan Area and will set the tone for the numerous projects to follow. The residents of this new community can fulfill employment, shopping, dining and entertainment within close proximity to their home. The project is just west of Whittwood Mall which itself is going through redevelopment. The new community residents will become important economic elements in their neighborhood by signaling to the City and development community that the area is improving and worthy of attention and reinvestment.
